BASIC
for Web Browsers
The continued longevity (BASIC forever!) of the programming language depends on it being able to run in web browsers, on-line and off-line.
BASIC also needs the various implementations (traditional and browser-based) and related projects to unite as cooperative competitors, to develop symbiotic relationships, to promote each other.
In that spirit, a comparison of BASIC implementations that live in web browsers.
Not so much competitors as entirely different beasts serving very different purposes in the BASIC ecosystem.
