Tournament Rotation
Tournament Rotation is not really another performance strategy.
For the first tournament game, the coach selects one of the standard strategies to create the opening batting order.
For each subsequent game, the app:
Reads the most recently saved actual batting order.
Moves the previous leadoff batter to the bottom.
Advances every other available player by one position.
Removes unavailable players while retaining the sequence of available players.
Adds players who were not in the previous order to the bottom.
For example:
Game 1
1. Adam
2. Evie
3. Taj
4. Elliott
Game 2
1. Evie
2. Taj
3. Elliott
4. Adam
Tournament Rotation is therefore based on equal progression through the order, not coach ratings or batting statistics.
A coach could describe it as:
“The first tournament lineup uses the coach’s preferred strategy. After that, the app rotates the actual saved order by one place each game so that every player progresses toward the top.”
