Jason Carey

Jason Carey is an innovative and dynamic marketing and communications management professional with significant experience in diverse roles leading the scope of organizational branding, marketing, communications strategy, and operations. Jason has proven success in enhancing organizational visibility and engagement across traditional and digital platforms with a clear focus on operational excellence, hands-on leadership, and precise execution. He serves as a mentor and thought leader to colleagues and staff to drive consensus and inspiration around new ideas and approaches that positively serve the organization. His management and leadership expertise is in the private, public, and non-profit sectors.



Jason earned his MBA from Baruch in Computer Information Systems and likes returning to

campus for various alumni events!


Agnes de Freitas

Agnes immigrated to the United States with her family in February 1981 at the age of 14. They settled in Canarsie, Brooklyn, where she attended Canarsie High School, focusing on accounting. In 1984, she enrolled at Baruch College, initially majoring in Accounting before switching to Marketing in her sophomore year.


Her professional journey began in 1987 when she joined Chase Manhattan Bank's Global Custody division, starting as a receptionist and later transitioning to a trade support role. In 1990, she moved to Daiwa International Capital Management, where she continued to work in Trade Support Operations.  In July 1995, Agnes joined Schroder Investment Management, where she advanced from Trade Support Operations to Assistant Vice President and eventually to Vice President, Deputy Head of Operations. Her decade-long tenure at Schroders was a period of significant professional growth.  In 2005, she joined JPMorgan Chase’s Corporate Investment Bank as a Client Service Account Manager, a role that challenged her to enhance her interpersonal skills. This experience proved invaluable in developing her softer skills.


By 2014, she had transitioned to the Asset Management Fixed Income Middle Office team, supporting Portfolio Managers. In 2017, she took on the role of Product Owner for instrument pricing and analytics within the Asset & Wealth Management Chief Data Office.


Evan Higgins

Evan Higgins is a dynamic entrepreneur and seasoned consultant with a proven track record of founding companies and supporting Fortune 500 companies. Evan is part of the visionary team behind Know Your Politician, a platform launched in 2020 to educate Americans about their elected officials, Evan has been at the forefront of civic engagement for over four years. He also founded EDH Solutions, a consulting firm that provides innovative solutions for Healthcare and Public Sector clients.


Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Evan's journey began at Benjamin Banneker Academy, where he graduated in 2008. With over 11 years of experience in consulting, he has worked with prestigious firms like KPMG, AArete, and West Monroe Partners, helping healthcare clients navigate complex business and technology challenges.


In his free time, Evan enjoys immersing himself in podcasts, audiobooks, and investment opportunities. A proud alumnus of Drexel University, he holds a bachelor's degree in Finance & Information Systems and currently resides in Riverdale, NY. 

Danielle Teesdale

Vice President, Citi

Danielle is a seasoned product manager in the financial industry. She leads the development of various cash management tools for small business owners, which helps thousands of customers accurately manage their cash flow. She enjoys making a positive impact on small business owners’ lives by solving their problems with new features and products.


She has a passion for customer research and utilizes it to design and launch innovative financial products, applications and websites. Her favorite aspect of product management is developing a concept for new feature or product and collaborating with various teams to turn the concept into reality.


She earned her MBA from Baruch in Computer Information Systems and likes returning to campus for various alumni events!
