Our Mischief

"JBOMs Queen of Hearts". One of our few Top Eared does, shes a absolutely lovely Self Agouti Silvermane. She was bred by Business of Mischief. Somehow Queenie defied the odds with her first litter of 16 (born almost exactly two years after there grandpa) , all surviving past the first two weeks! Shes just like her Auntie Spade a sassy funny girl who wants things just her way! Shes bringing in not only some great genetics but a can do personality.
She retired in summer of 2024 

"Bards I like Waffles". A lovely Velveteen Dumbo Blue Irish. She is the daughter of Bruno and Bunny from their second litter. She is a sweet girl with her mom's disposition and options. Her first litter was to Edger and resulted in three dwarves and our beloved doe Scrungle! Her Daughters Forget me not (fomo) and Scrungle will
be having their first litters in April. She retired fall of 2024. 

"JBOMs White Rabbit" Sweet little Dumbo. She is a pearl Silvermane velveteen. Shes the snuggliest girl we've ever had. She was bred by Kristians Kritters. A wonderful mama we've had some real love from her babies. She had two litters retiring winter 2021

"JBOMs Queen of Spades" is an adorable and tame little Silvermane Dumbo Doe. She was bred by Kristians Kritters and has a long history of lovely coats and wonderful temperament and health. She has turned
out to raise some of the Chunkyest Babies we've
ever seen!  She had one litter retiring fall 2022

"Bards Eggs on the Side". Edger is the son of Bruno and Bunny, and our 4th generation! Hes a bright eyed friendly and easygoing boy who really loves his dad and wants to be Edwin's best friend more than anything. There even the same age (only 7 days difference). Despite Edwin's rejection he wants to be everyone friend. His first breeding will most likely be to Queenie for her second litter sometime in the winter. He was Retired early due to his pushy and grumpy old man personality. We decided it wasn't best for the lines to have him breed more and pulled him in favor of his son Icon who is much more like his grandfather.

"Bards Sage" is Daughter of Queenie and Bruno, we found an unexpected favorite in Sage. Sage was an energetic doe with loads of playful exuberance! We paired her with Edwin, not sure of what she would produce, and she produced one of our favorite litters. We bred her again to Edwin and produced another banger litter; at her current age, we decided that was it and won't be breeding her again despite how much we love her and Edwin's pairings.be having their first litters in April. She retired spring of 2024. 

Our first breeder doe this girl was a firecracker, vocal and playful she put the Mis in Mischief. She destroyed yards of fabric making her nest for her 15 babies 14 of whom made it to adulthood. She was on loan from another breeder for the litter and returned home with 3 sons and 2 daughters to her home breeder. 

Blue was from a Feeder Breeder, he was a sweet but shy boy with a love of bones. He was born Christmas 2020 and passed February 9th, 2022 At the age of one year and two months peacefully in his hammock, Cause of death seemed to be an aneurism.

Matt Is our founder buck. He Was the sweetest thing on the planet, always full of kisses, sometimes picking cuddles over treats. He was also well known for his "potato" time where he sits with us snuggled up and relaxed. He was Retired in January 2022 after falling ill suddenly with pneumonia.

He had a great few months with us after that!

At the start of April he developed hind leg degeneration. We moved him to an easier to navigate cage. His decline was sudden, and painless but clear. It was time. He was only going to get worse. We put an end to his pain before it started to become unbearable. 

He fell asleep in my arms happy till the end 

Matt's son, Stormy is a sweetie, incredibly friendly, and easy to handle. Out of all 14 of his siblings, he turned out to be the best buck to add to our breeding program. He's very sweet and easily food motivated. Hes the father of our prolific buck Bruno.

Suddenly in August he started to decline physically and mentally, he spent his last days sleepily in the cage till he passed.

Almost an entirely self black rex, Matt's son Hugo has amazing conformation and he knows it. His attitude is palpable and he's the first to dive for food. This chubmonster will add some good diversity to our lines.

After his brother passed we noticed the same decline in him, we think he wanted to be with his brother.
