The Entire Event was hosted on Zoom
Yes! Activity Submissions are closed, but all those cool things that were contributed need to have a Rock Star Zoom Mod to open and close the link, and perform a few very basic forms assistance, like sharing class hand outs to chat, or muting the barking dog of someone who rogot to mute themselves. You get to have all the fun of being a participant, and all the pride of being a volunteer! Contact Li Xia or Taliesin by the emails on the home page, or through our Facebook event page ( https://www.facebook.com/events/548586700558742 )
A Skirmish is a foray against your creative limits! Learn something new, then try out your new knowledge for size. Step up to the Wordsmith's Pell, armor up with your beverage of choice, and strike a blow against creative doldrums! Skirmishes have a Host, a Topic, a Challenge, and enough time to sink your teeth into it as a project.
The only competition is against your limits. Receive words of advice, support, and coaching as you test your Bardic footing. Let us support one another with good cheer and camaraderie!
No! This is about being a better performer (or appreciative audience member) today that you were yesterday. There are topics, suggestions, prompts, yes, but no rubrics- no judges- just healthy enthusiasm.
Hey, if you want to grab your Bardic Buddy Bestie and do stuff together, we certainly aren't stopping you! But there was no intent to make this about teams or sides.
We get warm fuzzy feelings when we see people with Kingdoms from across the globe after their name, but it does not come into play. We are all People of the Ethereal Realm in this space.
Do you want to click "Launch Zoom" ? Then yes, yes you are. Come and be welcome! Wherever we are in our performing arts journey, we can take always- always- take another step forward.
If you are reading this, you are SCAdian enough.
1) Don't be a knave.
2) Act in good faith.
3) Don't do things that necessitates this section be expanded upon for Bardic Skirmishes III.
There, I think that covers it. Have a good time, and see you soon!
Note on harassment and/or bullying: Please be aware that the SCA prohibits harassment and bullying of all individuals and groups and we will be abiding by that policy. If you experience harassment and/or bullying, please contact a staff member immediately and we will handle it. If you are harassing or bullying someone you will be asked to stop or leave.
