Life After Death
He came to me to take away my sorrow.
The pain was too much, the loss too great.
In his arms he held me quietly rocking me ever so gentle.
The words were few softly spoken
“It’s not so bad”. Then he was gone.

Sentenced
The drama has started, will it never end?
You told me you loved me
and would love me till the end.
You lashed out found me guilty without a trial.
Condemned me without fault.
If I prove you wrong, where are we?
The words have been said. The hurt will not leave.
I’m not guilty but the sentence has been passed.

The Game
Excitement builds as he enters the stadium.
Anticipation of possibilites offered.
He bolts onto the field ready for whatever comes his way.
Waiting anxiously anticipating his chance planning his move.
A break away opponents move feverishly towards him.
Swiftly he moves in, legs entwined, each fighting for possession.
Only one walks away, while the other sends the
ball back up the field to win the Game.

I Would Have Loved
To Have Known You
We never met still my heart grieves
I heard you have gone to heaven It’s your time to rest.
My Dad always spoke of you. Grandpa loved you so
I know you were a wonderful person .
I loved you too.I wish we had met
The hugs we would have shared. I love to give kisses.
I will blow you one in the air.
I am excited. Grandpa is coming soon
I remember when he was here once before
Now he will make a home.
Someday when I am older
I would like to visit the places you lived
To meet our family tand make my life complete.
For now you are in heaven it’s a wonderful place I hear.
God is taking care of you and my other friends there.
Someday we will meet, our hugs we will share
Stories you will tell me, my life will be complete .
I fill this paper with kisses to you I will send.
In the ashes of this poem they will travel to you in the wind.

Snow Crazy
It’s snowing outside
There’s a warm fire burning inside.
Windows shaking from the howling winds.
Snowflakes falling,
I anticipate the chance,
of building igloos
while everyone else builds snowmen.
Snow angels guard the entrance
I shovel out the inside.
It grows warmer with my body heat
igloos really are warm.
But a warm fire and cocoa are waiting for me inside.
Why am I out here in the cold
Maybe I’m just snow crazy!
