Good-bye
On a table lies a man, for what reason did he die?
In the hospital for exploratory surgery
He was put to sleep A silent death.
His heart was tired It could no longer beat
He died.
They searched for an answer, looking for a cause.
Cancer of the lung , Cancer of the brain.
How had he lived this long?
I never got to say good-bye
In Memory of Raymond E Miller Sr.

He Gave Us Life
From the darkness A glob appeared.
Bringing light from the heavens
Light to the world
And a dream became real.
People, rulers under God.
Keepers of our world.
Water, oceans of water.
Home for fish, food for man.
Light for man to work by
Darkness for man to rest by.
A Garden fruit provided by God.
A place to live provided wisdom.
Life, Gods gift to man.
Everything was clean then came sin.

Sleigh Ride
Elizabeth J went out to play.
In the deep snow she rode her red sleigh.
Down a steep hill pass a goat eating hay.
Elizabeth J was going the wrong way!
Faster and faster went Elizabeth J.
Over the crisp snow she rode her red sleigh.
Elizabeth J tried to stop,
Then she began spinning like a big red top!
Around and around spun Elizabeth J.
Around and around on her red sleigh.
Elizabeth J was getting quite dizzy.
As she lay on her sleigh feeling quite queasy.
Elizabeth J finally stopped.
She popped off her sleigh like a jack-in-the-box.
In a pile of snow she fell with a thump.
Soft as a pillow she landed on her rump.
Back up the hill went Elizabeth J.
Next time, she will go the right way.

Words
I lost a Good friend today
Someone I’ve never met but friends we were.
Sometimes things just go wrong.
No intentions meant, feelings are hurt
Anger shows words start bouncing.
That’s all we had
Words.
That makes it to easy to go separate ways.
But the feelings are still there.
The memories of moments shared.
Even if they were only Words.
The words meant a lot
I had a friend, I lost a friend
Due to Words

The Message
You appeared in my dream last night.
Even though we’ve never met.
You’ve changed, grown older, unkempt.
Only your eyes remain the same.
I believed you to be gone, never to return.
Maybe it didn’t happen. There’s still hope.
