I am currently a PhD student in MechE at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Prof. Farimani and Prof. Shimada. I am interested in implementing and improving Deep Learning and Reinforcement Learning in Design and Robotics. I believe learning representations that extract features from limited data plays a vital role in generalizing and transferring familiar knowledge into novel and sophisticated tasks, thus, making Design more creative and Robotics more intelligent. This includes learning in self-supervised manner, zero/few-shot learning, intrinsic reward, etc. Earlier, I received M.S. in MechE at CMU, working with Prof. Shimada and B.Eng in Engineering Mechanics at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. During my spare time, I enjoy playing video games and reading fictions.
