I am a PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University working at the intersection of machine learning and scientific discovery. My research interests span generative AI, molecular and materials discovery, protein modeling, and scientific representation learning. I previously completed my M.S. at Carnegie Mellon at the intersection of AI and Chemical Engineering, working with Prof. Farimani on AI for materials, molecular, and protein discovery. I received my B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. Alongside research, I have explored entrepreneurship and built AI products in Silicon Valley, taking ideas through multiple pivots and into end-to-end production. In my free time, I’m trying to make it to the gym, play some squash, and, when I’m not doing either, you’ll probably find me writing or hunting for the next nature spot to explore.
