Prakarsh Yadav

I am a PhD at the Mechanical and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (MAIL) at Carnegie Mellon University, being advised by Prof. Amir Farimani. My research focus is on application of machine learning to solve biological problems. I am working on projects which integrate complex biological phenomena and computational methods to create technological solutions that have a positive impact on society. These projects draw motivation from challenges in basic biological research and healthcare, and leverage machine learning to develop state of the art solutions. I am pursuing MS in Biomedical Engineering at CMU as my second major and I received bachelor’s in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University, New Delhi, India. I like to watch soccer and avidly follow the English Premier League. I also enjoy playing video games and experimenting in the kitchen
