Olabode Ajenifujah

I am a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, advised by Professor Amir Farimani. I received B.S. and M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan, where I investigated the design, synthesis and characterization of nanostructured materials for catalytic, energy storage and conversion applications. Prior to PhD studies, I worked at Applied Materials performing modelling and simulating thermal, flow and chemistry in metal deposition and etching chambers used in the manufacturing of Semiconductor Materials. I am interested in exploring problems involving intelligent discovery using AI/ML, directed evolution, combinatorial chemistry, and robotics. At my leisure time, I enjoy playing soccer and cooking.
