The rules of the "normal world" don't quite work the same way here. This is a place to explore, wonder, remember, imagine, and see what happens when we give creativity a little more room. Take what you have and bring it to our figurative table here—or our literal one at the library during writers' group. We don't bring many rules with us, just respect for one another, ourselves, and the words we choose to share.

The blank page isn't asking you to get it right.

It's asking where you'd like to go.

We can remember what happened or imagine what should have. Wander backward, forward, sideways, or somewhere that doesn't exist yet. Follow a moment, or a memory. Chase a strange thought. Three words or three pages? The important thing is that we wander. Together. Nobody has to wander onto the page alone.

So, leave ordinary at the door. You can pick it up on your way out.
