Fall Series Sponsored by the Baraboo Library to be Presented by Baraboo Writers Blast

A Quick Note on Schedule:

For these fall series, we’ll be meeting on Mondays from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Don't worry—we'll still have our Wednesday gatherings as usual!

1. September 14th: The Time Capsule Key – We will use vintage "mystery items" as evidence from a lost era, writing scenes that focus on textures, smells, and the secrets behind how these objects were found.

2. October 12th: The Borrowed Perspective – A fun "mental costume" exercise where participants write a short scene through the eyes of someone completely different from themselves to build character depth.

3. November 9th: The Elephant in the Room – A dialogue game where characters are trapped in a small space (like an elevator or a waiting room) and must talk about everything except the one big secret they are both hiding.

4. December 14th: The Snapshot Story – Mastering "Flash Fiction" by learning how to capture a massive life story in a "postcard" format of exactly 100 words.
