About Me

When I'm not researching or teaching, I can typically be found with my wife, Jackie, and three dogs. Jackie is a graphic designer by training and owns her own business making nature-inspired gifts. Lacie is our basset hound that makes up for her small stature with sass, and Rory is our black lab whose primary love in life is food. Spruce is our redtick coonhound who's still figuring out how to use his nose.

Among other things, we enjoy traveling, exploring the outdoors and new cities, and conquering escape rooms. We also love serving our local community through our church. You very well may see us around one of Knoxville's many dog parks, restaurants, or other attractions; so always feel free to say hello. 

Lastly, I am a proud Slytherin, and some of my personal interests include cooking, gardening, and staying on top of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's newest developments.
