The results show:
the majority of you were not anxious about the return to school in August
the majority of you felt you had the information you needed
the majority of the school had made the right type and enough changes
half of parents did not feel their child was anxious about the return to school in August
although, the majority of you felt your child/ren were anxious about the changes the school made
BUT 84 % said their child/ren were happy or very happy to be back at school
The main issues were
communication
use of outdoor learning
lunch breaks
and issues about the new arrangements for collection of children
A brief survey (roughly 15 minutes to complete) asking about:
what nurseries/schools did well
areas where communication could improve
the issues that you would like more information on
what additional supports you require to help on a range of issues
We made £50 from the sweets we sold before the September weekend.

During the present situation, the Parent Council (PC) have agreed to take our meetings online.
We are now setting up our meetings using Zoom and we have been advised that for safety you must email us at bankheadparentcouncilgcc@gmail.com to get the link for each meeting.
Please remember that Caldwell Avenue and Broadlie Drive are CAR FREE ZONES from 8:30am - 9:15am and 2:30pm - 3.15pm.
Only residents and Blue Badge holders can park on these roads during these times.

Please read the advice from Scottish Government on new restrictions in place due to Covid-19. New rules for Scotland mean that you must not make indoor social visits to other households, pubs, bars and restaurants must close at 10pm, etc.
The Parent Council would like to remind parents to stay 2m apart at the school gates!
These measures are in place to keep you and your child safe!
