Office of Individual and Family Affairs (OIFA)

The Office of Individual and Family Affairs (OIFA, pronounced "oy-fuh") promotes recovery, resiliency, and wellness for individuals with mental health and substance use challenges. Each OIFA team member has lived experience with behavioral health challenges, either from their own experiences of recovery or from directly supporting someone through their recovery.

The OIFA Alliance is comprised of OIFA offices at AHCCCS and all the contracted health plans. The OIFA Alliance focuses on building partnerships, promoting peer and family support, aiding and improving in system navigation, and engaging community members at all levels of the behavioral health system.
