Center of Teaching and Learning (Pusat Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran) has provided an evaluation form that appraise the lecturer’s preparedness and teaching performance that needs to be fulfilled by the students towards the end of the semester. Thus, the students can give their feedbacks on teaching effectiveness to the lecturer. The chart shows the trend of my teaching appraisal in Fakulti Kejuruteraan Elektrik based on the subject and semester. There is also a separate survey to evaluate learning experiences based on 14 different dimensions. This evaluation is shown in the subsequent chart which is also based on subjects. The questions that evaluate these 14 dimensions are also shown here (D1-D14).
D1: Saya belajar mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip dari subjek ini ke situasi lain. (I learned to apply the principles from this subject to new situations)
D2 : Saya meningkatkan kebolehan saya dalam menyelesaikan masalah. (I improved my ability to solve problem)

D12: Pengajar memberikan maklumbalas pada masanya dan membantu kerja saya (laporan makmal/ tugasan/ kuiz). (The instructor provided timely and helpful feedback on my work (lab report/ assignment/ quiz)
D13:Jenis pentaksiran yang digunakan bersesuaian dengan hasil pembelajaran. (The type of assessments used was appropriate for the learning outcome)
Usually after midterm and several quizzes, the analysis of the student’s performance is conducted to assess the attainment of the LO. To ensure my short-term goals are achieved, general observations on the student’s attainment is analysed within two weeks of submission.
Other than that, for the students that attains less than 15 marks for the midterm, I will ask them to submit corrections for those errors and state the reason for their mistakes. This will help them evaluate themselves and point out their weaknesses to help them improve in the future. The following screen captures depict the example of student’s correction for their midterm test.

There is online feedback available for the student to send feedback on how their understanding of the subject. Besides, online feedback also contains how the teaching and learning performance and their suggestion for me to improve my teaching performance.
