My teaching philosophy embraces active learning strategies and developing the intuition behind economic concepts.
This philosophy is reflected in my use of teaching technologies to design effective pedagogical activities and foster personalized student engagement, earning recognition from the Graduate College (click here for award details).

Consumer theory and the theory of the firm are utilized to show how independent decisions by consumers and firms interact in markets to determine the price and output of goods and services.
ECNS 303 Intermediate Macroeconomics with Calculus
Fall 2026, Spring 2027
The course provides a formal treatment of macroeconomic models used to explain observed economic phenomena and understand the forces shaping economic growth, fluctuations, inflation, and unemployment. Topics include Fisher Effects, Cagan model, Solow growth model and the IS-LM model.
ECNS 403R Introduction to Econometrics
Fall 2026, Spring 2027
Statistical analysis and interpretation of quantitative data in economics. Focus on estimating economic relationships and conducting hypothesis testing in economics. Discussions also include causal inference methods, such as difference-in-difference and instrumental variables models. This is a senior capstone course.
