Graduate Student Excellence in Teaching and Mentoring Award, Honorable Mention

Recognized in a university-wide competition organized by the Graduate College and the Center for Teaching Excellence at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), which highlights graduate student instructors for outstanding teaching and contributions to undergraduate student development. Each year, one PhD winner and two honorable mentions are selected across all colleges, and I was honored to be among those recognized in 2025.

Open Textbook Faculty Incentive Program

Awarded a grant by UIC Provost’s Office and the University Library for adopting open educational resources (OER) in place of traditional academic references, demonstrating significant cost savings for students through cost impact analysis.
