This guy always has an almost chilling smirk on his face. It never fades... He tends to be completely unfazed by most of the events that occur. No matter how impactful they should have been. He often comes off as intimidating due to his smug aura. His manners often make people assume he is of high authority. However, most children tend to find him charming. During the story, he will be leading Kehan & Dali'an from the very beginning to the eventual end...

Yifu travels from town-to-town looking for folklore stories while also collecting SoulStones to sell in other parts of the country. The children of his hometown are very fond of the stories he tells and looks forward to him coming back with more...

He's a mentor to Kehan & Dali'an and helped Samara find her DragonStone. He acts less cold around these three, even cracking a few jokes here and there. Mostly terrible dad-puns but the kids don't mind. He's the only person who can "get in Mingjians head" whether she likes it or not. He can somehow get Siliao to talk as well.

Some say he talks too mature for his age. He's polite and well-spoken...Though he does not speak much unless you ask him for He-Xian history, then it's almost impossible to shut him up. He seems to be well informed on all kinds of philosophy as well. He's cold to any potential friends and seems to erase people out of his mind quite quickly, often forgetting many peoples names. The only person he seems to accept as a friend is Kayra Guan, nevertheless, he claims he is Kayras advisor more so. He also seems to have ties to Empress Hai.

He may be well-liked by most of the locals but his behaviour towards the former guards of He-Xia; "Split Idol", Teigan and Hersila, is looked down upon. He plays down their actions and mocks them often. Even if he tries to hide it, he gets all anxious when asked why he has so much hatred for the dragons in question.

He is fully colourblind (Monochromacy) and relies on his assistant Hex if he needs help with colours.
