Born and raised in the hinterland of India, I regularly watched my grandfather offering treatment to villagers who were bitten by snakes or other ailments with herbs and roots grown in our backyard. I was fascinated by this world of natural products and herbsand thi s also laid a path for my career in medicine. My grandfather and my father offered unstinted support and ensured that i received the best education in ayurveda.
I graduated from Bangalore-based Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, considered one of top universities in India for medical education and specialised in internal medicine. After degree, I was trained under Dr Ganesh Kumar, a senior and well-known ayurveda physician from Bangalore, for over an year. My work with Dr Kumar offered a practical experience and also trained me for different treatments and frameworks of our age-old medicine. I also received training in panchakarma treatment at Dhanvantri Ayurveda College in Bangalore.
I'm a certified member of Complementary Therapists Association, UK's leading professionals for therapists. I offer treatments to couples with infertility issues and women related matters such as menustration and menopause matters, which have become a major problem with changing socio-economic lifestyle in the UK. This apart, I have can offer specialised treatment for skin disorders, kidney ailments and indigestion.
