For this assignment, our team was involved in the Chocolate Firm simulation game, and our company name was “Kokolet.” I was responsible for handling the Sales, Advertising, and Marketing aspects of the business.
Analyzed market reports and consumer feedback to guide branding and pricing decisions as Sales, Advertising, and Marketing Manager.
Led strategy that increased market share and brand visibility, earning the Top Performance Award and Certificate of Excellence
As the Sales and Marketing Manager in the Edumundo Chocolate Firm simulation, I was responsible for crafting and executing our Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies to grow brand awareness, drive product demand, and ensure our market positioning matched consumer expectations.
Throughout the simulation, I worked closely with a cross-functional team that included:
The CEO – to align marketing goals with overall business strategy
The Financial Manager – to allocate marketing budgets wisely and track ROI
The Operations and Logistics Managers – to ensure our promotional pushes were supported by adequate supply and inventory levels
We used real-time data from the simulation dashboard to adjust our campaigns, promotions, and retail relationships. One of my key initiatives was leading the shopkeeper-focused promotion strategy, which significantly increased product placement, brand loyalty, and consumer visibility. We also prioritized seasonal campaigns, especially leading into Q4, when we observed holiday-related spikes in demand.
Despite challenges with profit margins and holding costs, our team saw remarkable growth in several KPIs:
936% increase in product demand
Top-tier product quality scores (9–10/10)
Improved market share across core product lines (tablets, bars, and seasonal products)
Enhanced communication and decision-making processes within our team
This project was not just a marketing exercise—it was a hands-on leadership and collaboration experience. It challenged me to balance creativity with analytics, and to communicate consistently with multiple departments to ensure our messaging aligned with production and financial realities.
For this assignment, our team (The Beavers) developed a comprehensive international marketing strategy to support the export of ONErpm, a global music distribution platform, into the Canadian market.
I contributed to the analysis of market entry strategies, cultural adaptation, and competitive positioning within the Canadian music and digital content landscape.
We assessed factors such as consumer behavior, regulatory frameworks, and market trends to determine the best approach for localized brand growth.
Our final plan included digital promotion strategies, influencer partnerships, and platform optimization to support successful entry and long-term expansion.

“Throughout my time working with Ayo, he has shown exceptional teamwork, ensuring that all of his work is done thoroughly and on time. Throughout our projects, there were numerous occasions where team members were unable to participate, resulting in Ayo and I taking responsibility and completing assignments independently. ”
