Senior high school student summit
Objective:
This event focuses on promoting diversity by engaging senior high school students from various backgrounds in a summit during the Asian Wireless Power Transfer (AWPT 2024) Conference. The goal is to inspire students from underrepresented groups to explore STEM fields, particularly electrical engineering and wireless technologies.
Event Description:
A dedicated summit for senior high school students will be held during the AWPT 2024 conference. This event will include:
Expert Presentations: Talks by leading professionals in the field of Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) to introduce students to cutting-edge technologies and future trends.
Interactive Sessions: Hands-on demonstrations of WPT technologies, with opportunities to explore real-world applications and solutions.
Student Engagement: Students will participate in ranking hardware projects from the student competition, allowing them to engage with emerging technologies and take part in the decision-making process.
Diversity Focus:
The event will actively recruit students from a wide range of backgrounds, particularly targeting underrepresented groups in STEM, such as senior high school students from rural or underserved areas. The aim is to promote diversity and provide equal opportunities for students to engage with professionals and cutting-edge technologies in the WPT field.
