Strategies we develop to manipulate an environment prior to the occurrence of a behavior.
Arrangement of events or circumstances that precede an activity or demand in order to increase the occurrence of a behavior or lead to the reduction of the challenging/interfering behaviors.
ABI’s goal is to modify the environment to change the conditions in the setting that prompt a learner to engage in the identified interfering behavior. ABI is designed to prevent the identified interfering behavior from occurring.
