For this project, I had to research the hardware components of a computer while building a virtual system online. I wanted to build a multi-purpose PC. To virtually build my PC, I decided to use the website PCPartPicker.com to find all the hardware I needed for this PC.

I learned about the many brands and variations of each hardware piece and their slight difference in functionality. I never thought about the compatibility of each piece and how it affects the overall build. I enjoyed researching different hardware and might do it more often. If I would want to build my own PC one day now I know the fundamentals.
