For this project, I am discovering the use of social media and its impact on society.

Lessons Learned
I learned about the five different types of digital media and their purposes. I gathered an understanding of the two types of digital graphics, Raster and Vector, along with their corresponding file types. I would like to work on doing more animations and progressing with them.
I took the "Am I ADDICTED to Social Media" quiz and I am satisfied with my results. The quiz stated that I am fairly reliant on social media, which is true. I know I can spend less time on social media and I have been trying different tactics to keep me busy away from it.
Social media can have both positive and negative impacts on society but there's a balance. While social media can provide images and animations beneficial to somebody, there can also be bad representations of a subject. This can range from self-image, politics, or even a brand people have mixed opinions on. Communication, as well as free speech, can also be a benefit to social media use. It is effective and convenient to go online and communicate with people all over the world. Worldwide communication comes with problems including cyberbullying, harassment, and even horrible impersonation.
