I earned my certificate in cybersecurity. I learned the difference between ransomware and malware. Protecting your digital privacy is more than deleting unused apps and removing access to sites. You have to consider encryption, extensions, and investing in VPN for your devices.

This article gives information on how to spot Paypal scams and how to avoid being a victim of one. Phishing is tricking people into sharing personal information, commonly through email. This scammer uses a Paypal address, sending a confirmation email along with a phone number to call. The scam can be avoided by checking the email address, deleing the spam mail, and checking your account through the offical Paypal app or website. You should also contact the offical customer service line, which can be found on the official app and website.

An online fraud is the act of exploiting somebody into giving away personal information, money, or property most commonly through phishing emails, online listings, or identity theft. Nevada, California, and New Jersey have been affected the hardest, losing more money than other states by capita and by person. It is stated that the states can prevent by improving their fraud detection programs and also giving more lessons on digital literacy.
