A hands-on introduction to Trichinopoly, sometimes called wire weaving, wire knitting, or Viking Knit. This technique produces beautiful chains documented to multiple ages and cultures, useful for necklaces, adorning clothing, and for practical use. Students will learn how to start, loop, add additional wires, and finishing options.
Students who stay for the full 2 hours should be able to finish a length of chain suitable for a bracelet. Students who come for the first hour will be introduced to the technique, but will complete their projects after class.3:00pm - What's Happening in Court?

Step into an immersive TED talk–style session with Maestro Tommaso Tiepolo, where refined technique meets a carefully honed philosophy of movement. *The House of Tiepolo Rules: More Than Just The Tip* explores how every gesture—every deliberate step, every measured breath—plays a vital role in expressing intent and mastery. Drawing on time-tested principles of rapier fencing and mindful practice, Tommaso’s session will show you that true expression comes from the full continuum of movement—from the preparation to the decisive follow-through and more importantly taking steps towards becoming comfortable in your own body. 3:00pm - The Skjoldehamn Hood
Learn to make your own Viking hood, which can be hand-stitched or machine-stitched, or a combination of both. This versatile accessory can be made from less than a meter of 56" wide wool, linen, or fabric of your choice. Some pre-cut pieces of wool or wool blends will be available for purchase at $5 each, so you could go home from the event with a hand-stitched Viking hood.
