To work in a group it was difficult as we had so many great ideas and it was hard to choose from them. It was also great as we could combine our ideas and be able to work out on choosing a firm which is NAIS Ice Cream. It was effective in the way of being able to make up more things that we could do for this firm. We chose this shop because it is near to one of our members' area. We also found this in social media. We genuinely believe ice cream is one of the best businesses to be in, and that’s why we choose this.
We also chose this product because we wanted to bring a new innovation that still brought the delicious taste of classic food. This product will not only satisfy people's hunger and craving for food, but this product will also incorporate the 3rd stage of Alderfer's growth theory. Moreover, NAIS Ice Cream shops use a variety of marketing methods to help sell their products for example they advertise on Facebook. Moreover we found that they are lacking in marketing and they got many competitors as their weakness. Furthermore, they also have high competition.
Demographics of the NAIS Ice Cream is competitive due to the presence of other homemade ice creams. For example, there is competition between SME in Seremban, the catering industry in Negeri Sembilan and commercial ice cream companies like Nestle Cornetto and the most famous one Baskin Robbins. They also compete with well-known ice cream sold in mini markets near their shop. They also have competitors who have attractive product packaging design (customized packaging design ) as their threat. So we planned to give the best solutions for their problems.
We also found NAIS Ice Cream is interesting with their products. For example they have diverse flavours of ice creams. They use both artificial and non-artificial products which are safe and healthy.
