Acknowledgements:
Mrs. O. Attar- Thank you for guiding us through this project step-by-step and teaching us the information needed to be able to build this product. Thank you for always being there to give us support and a positive feeling when the process was not going the way we wanted.
Dr. J. Saltzman- Thank you so much for the wonderful advice you gave us to help build our product. Any time we had a question, we were able to email you and get a very quick, clear and thorough response. We would also like to thank you for helping us with making the 3D design for our gear and rack on Tinkercad--it made the printing process much more efficient!
Miss T. Portnoy- Thank you so much for being there for us from start to finish of our project. Whether we had questions about the design of our product, brainstorming ideas on how to make our product more efficient or assisting us through every page of our website, you were always there.
Rikki was the mastermind behind the creation of the circuit. Rikki programmed the stepper motor and was invloved a lot with the 3D printing of the gear and rack. She drew the coding and had part in the website.
Ayala was invloved in a lot of the background and market research. She kept our team organized and was very involved with the website. Ayala was also resposbible for the buliding process of our prototype.
Bracha did some background reasearch and wrote the abstract. She was invloved with the website and organized the survey. She also created the video and helped with the testing process of the protoytype.
School:
All students currently attend Bais Yaakov High School in Baltimore, MD.
All in all, it was our entire team together that made the project come to life. Each girl helped immensly and without everyone this product could not exist. This process was a learning experience. Together, we grew in our knowledge of STEM, and our knowledge as teamates. We learned to work together and accomplish. We have enjoyed this process and apprecicate all the time set aside for this program. Thank you to the judges that will take time to look over our project.
