Australasian Trade Workshop 2024
The next Australasian Trade Workshop (ATW 17) will be hosted by the Department of Economics and Finance in Te Kura Umanga | the UC Business School of the University of Canterbury on the 16th and 17th March 2024 in Christchurch, New Zealand. You find the Call for Papers here, the submission deadline is November 1, 2023.

Transportation
Bus
If you do not have access to a vehicle during your stay in Christchurch there is a bus system with routes across the whole city. Below is the link which you can use to plan your journey using the Christchurch bus network.
The number 3 bus travels between the airport and the Central City Bus Interchange with a journey time between the central city and the University of Canterbury taking approximately 30 minutes.

Taxi/Shuttle
On arrival to Christchurch there will be some taxi companies located at the airport that can be used to take you to your accommodation. Prices vary between taxi companies so it is a good idea to research the cost prior to arrival. There are also options to take a shuttle from the airport. Below is the link to common taxi services and shuttle options from Christchurch Airport. The journey from the airport to Central City takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Parking
There is no free onsite parking for the University of Canterbury. If you are bringing a hire car then you will need to contact Onur Koska (Onur.koska@canterbury.ac.nz) to arrange a parking pass. Otherwise, you can pay for parking on an hourly or daily basis.
