2025–2026 Audition Details Below

Step 1: Complete the Registration Form
All students must complete the AYO Registration Form in order to access the audition materials. Once the form is submitted, the link to download the audition requirements for your instrument and ensemble level will appear on the confirmation page.

Step 2: Submit Your Audition Video
The audition video upload portal will go live in July 2025. A video submission form will be posted and available starting July 15, allowing you to upload your prepared audition recording according to the posted guidelines.
All audition materials must be uploaded and submitted no later than August 1, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.

Rubric-Based Evaluation
All auditions will be evaluated using a standardized rubric designed by AYO conductors and educators. This ensures consistency, transparency, and a clear path for student growth. Rubrics reflect AYO’s commitment to rewarding students who study their instruments diligently and prioritize ensemble training. By making our evaluation criteria public, we aim to support both students and teachers in understanding what AYO values: musicality, technique, and preparation.
