Q: Can I use my employer’s corporate matching gift program?

A: Yes! Corporate matching gifts are a great way to double or even triple the impact of your donation.

• Log in to your company’s corporate giving or matching gift platform

We are working on adding the ability to accept gifts of appreciated stocks and mutual funds. In the meantime, if you are interested in this type of gift, please contact us at ayotreasurer@austinyouthorchestra.org so we can discuss options.

Q: Can I make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from my IRA?

A: If you are age 70½ or older, you may be able to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to Austin Youth Orchestra Academy, Inc.:

• QCDs can help satisfy your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)

• The amount donated is generally excluded from your taxable income

• You may be able to donate up to the annual QCD limit as allowed by law
  
  

Because QCD rules and limits can change, please consult your financial advisor or tax professional for the most current limits and to determine whether a QCD is right for you.
