Mr. Sameer Alawnah

Mr. Sameer has taught in programming, digital systems and Internet and network computing for more than two years at American University of Sharjah. Based on my experience with his session, he’s great at keeping things interesting and appealing by making sure that everyone is on the same page.

Program Used

Thunkable is a web-based platform that enables users without programming experience to build apps for Android and iOS. It helps users to develop applications through voice components, language translations, multiple screens, and more.

Highlights

The main goal of this session was to understand and learn about mobile app development and its components. We were able to create and design an app that helps drivers locate their parked cars.

Overview

Mr. Sameer's manner of teaching is so simple yet intriguing! He is incredibly helpful, knowledgable, organized, and straight forward with everything in the session. Mr. Sameer was able to guide us through the process of developing an app using code blocks, designing the user interface, and much more. To sum things up, I would say that I have learned so much.
