Mr. Mohammed's research interests include field-programmable gate arrays, machine learning, computer networks and embedded systems. Based on my experience with his session, he was illustrative and thorough in how he explained each concept.
Home I/O allows interaction with lighting, heating and other smart home devices. Users are able to change weather conditions, location, date, time and other parameters then integrate Home I/O with a wide range of external automation technologies using Connect I/O.
Python is a general-purpose coding language that can be used for other types of programming and software development besides web development. That includes back end development, software development, data science and writing system scripts among other things.
Scratch is a visual programming language that allows students to create their own interactive stories, games and animations. Scratch has the important features of many programming languages, like loops (repeat blocks) and conditionals (if-then blocks).
The main goal of this session was to understand and learn about the world of IoT and smart home.
Mr. Mohammed's manner of teaching is so fascinating! Everything about this class was great! He communicated with us all the time, everything was explained perfectly and he made the class interesting. Mr. Mohammed was able to discuss smart homes, sensors, programming, and much more. Using Home I/O seemed so realistic and was extremely thrilling. This was a great session!
