CROSSCARE

Crosscare is a Dublin-based charity dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing crisis, poverty, and social exclusion. Founded in 1941, the organisation has a long-standing mission to offer compassionate, practical assistance to those most in need—guided by the values of love, respect, and excellence. Today, Crosscare operates across Dublin and Wicklow through a network of over 500 staff and 1,500 volunteers, providing essential services that include:

• Homeless and Housing Support: Help for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, including access to seven specialised services and welfare advice.

• Food Provision: Distribution of donated food through food banks and community centres to combat food poverty.

• Refugee, Migrant & Emigrant Services: Advocacy and support for migrants, asylum seekers, refugees, and returning Irish emigrants.

• Youth Services: Youth-led programmes focused on personal development, employment skills, health, and creative arts.

• Outdoor Learning: Experiential programmes in nature that build resilience, confidence, and leadership among young people.

GEOCAMP ICELAND

GeoCamp Iceland is an educational organisation based in Reykjanesbær, Iceland, dedicated to advancing outdoor learning, STEAM education, and environmental awareness. Through hands-on field experiences and place-based learning, GeoCamp connects young people and educators with Iceland’s dynamic natural landscapes, turning the country’s geology, ecology, and energy systems into an open-air classroom. The organisation collaborates closely with Reykjanes UNESCO Global Geopark and schools across the region to promote innovation and inclusion in education. As a partner in the AURORA project, GeoCamp Iceland focuses on initiatives on youth engagement, teacher training, and the integration of digital tools such as augmented reality into outdoor education. 

OLEMISEN BALANSSIA RY

Olemisen Balanssia ry is a Finnish training organization focusing on practical and sustainable education through nature-based and outdoor learning. Building on Finland’s connection with nature, the organization designs educational programs that integrate practical activities and environmental awareness. We collaborate with schools, local organizations and European partners to co-create outdoor learning training that supports green transition.

Their main activities include training and education consultancy services to youth, students and professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in travel and tourism.
