Rule 1: Commercialized (prefabricated) robots will not be allowed to participate in the final;

Rule 2: The robot must be autonomous from the energy point of view;

Rule 3: The time allowed for the ant robot's mission on the playground in front of the jury is set at 12 min maximum (10 min + 2 min of timeout if requested);

Rule 4: In the case of a dysfunction of the ant robot on the playground, the intervention of a single member of the team is allowed after request for a timeout:

o Each team has the right to ask twice for the two minutes timeout in order to make any necessary corrections to their robot;

o No programmable card replacement is authorized;

o At the end of each required timeout, the robot should go from:

        • The anthill of the “go” phase;

        • The ping pong balls zone (without the ball it needs to catch again) of the “coming” phase;

Rule 5: The final path that the robot-ant should travel will be communicated to all the participating teams 15 hours before the competition starts. Playing areas will be available for trial.

Rule 6: By the end of the allowed time for the reprograming of robots, they must be handed to the jury. Members of the jury will hand the robots back to the teams once they are on the final phase. Batteries should be fully charged before handing the robots to the jury.

Rule 7: The order of passage of the teams will be determined by drawing lots.

Rule 8: Each team must bring their own laptop, replacement material if need be, as well as every other useful material. Organizers will not provide any material.

Rule 9: If the ant-robot lost its ball in the return phase, it must come back to collect another one if it cannot find the lost one.

Rule 10: All impolite behavior from a team or one of its members will immediately lead to its elimination from the competition.

Rule 11: Information form the organizers, or the jury should be requested by the head of the team, who will be designated during the registration phase.

Rule 12: Each team should have at most three members, including the supervising professor for the Juniors category.
