My project explores the chosen class theme of identity and focuses on constructing identities and narratives, whether they be realistic or supernatural, like fairies and demons.

My project is called “Who Am I?”, and is a digital photography book with short written poems/reflections accompanying each tale.

I chose this medium since I love reading and photographing people as well as creating stories. I also love graphic design, and was able to use my skills and passion to create this book.

The book is 20 pages including a cover, an introduction, and 7 stories, each taking two pages (1 spread). These photos are a mix of portrait and still life, amounting to 2-3 pictures and one poem/reflection per layout. I used my Canon Rebel t6i digital camera and edited the pictures in photoshop. I also created the digital layout of the book in Photoshop and imported my pdf into an online platform that allows me to make an interactive digital book. I used my studio equipment I have at home like soft boxes, neon stick lights and backdrops to photograph my friend Alex through all my narratives.
