My name is David Brown and I live in North Somerset UK. I've been messing around with bats and bat surveys for a number of years. I started messing with IT in 1978 in my first job and it's been a bit of a theme over the last 40 years - so messing around with an AudioMoth is right up my street. For my sins I've been Vice-Chair of Avon Bat Group, recorded for BBC Radio Somerset, appeared in a bat segment for a BBC show "Saving Planet Earth" and been the "Bat Guy" for Miranda K on the BBC's "The One Show"
I recently described myself as an idiot in a dark field!
