I grew up in Michigan and received my Elementary Education BA from Eastern Michigan University (I would later receive a Master's Degree in Literacy K-12 from Meredith College).  Following undergrad, I moved to Dallas (for the sunshine!).  There I met my husband Brian (a Boston native) and after moving to NC we had two daughters who are the happy in our world!  Mikayla is an upcoming Senior at NC State (Chemical Engineering) and Delaney is headed to UNC in the fall as a freshman. Our crew also includes...our sweet little Morkie pup named Koda, along with my pet turtle, Einstein! My family's greatest passion is traveling and we've been blessed to explore amazing places from Iceland to Australia!  When we're not out and about, I love coffee dates, gym workouts, cruising in my Wrangler (definitely a Jeep girl!) and boating weekends with friends & family.
