Erin Bischoff

I’ve been doing FIRST Robotics for 8 years. My favorite parts about it consist of working on hardware and outreach. Outside of FTC I play volleyball and multiple instruments. I also take part in my schools Marching Band! In my free time I like to read, sleep, and go for walks.

Makayla McDonnell

I’ve been doing FIRST for 7 years with FTC being two of those years. I love to work on hardware and sharpen my problem solving skills both with the robot and with my team. Outside of school I’m a part of the marching band for my high school as well as play soccer. I love to read and spend my time outdoors.

Rianna Jain

I have done FIRST for 9 years! My favorite part about it all is learning about the fundamentals of engineering and making new friends along the way. I also love to apply our knowledge in the real world. My favorite things to do outside of robotics include, playing guitar, singing, writing poetry, participating in my school's speech and debate teams!

Ananya Subramanian

I’m Ananya and this is my second year doing FIRST. One of my favorite things about the program is that it builds many real-life skills, like problem solving and creativity. Outside of school, I play the piano and the saxophone, I like to read, and I’m part of my school’s debate team.

Audrey Kim

This is the seventh year I’m doing FIRST. I’m working on software this year, which is super exciting, I have already learned so much and can't wait to learn more. Outside of FTC I play percussion in my school band, and do debate!

Rachel Lee

I’m Rachel and this is my third year in FIRST. I usually work on CAD and 3D-design and it’s been great for learning problem solving! In my free time outside of FTC, I enjoy drawing, playing violin, color guard in marching band, theatre, and spending time with my friends.

Arianna Fitzpatrick

I'm Ari and this is my first year in FIRST! I love to play piano, participate in cross country, and basketball! I love to hang out with my two dogs, Inez and Sylvie and my younger brother, Reilly. I’ve take a coding class before and have been coding for almost a year, and I am looking forward to applying my skills as an attack hamster!

Amelia Lee

I'm Amelia and this is my first year with FIRST! I am super excited to learn to code this year. Outside of robotics, I love reading, drawing, and crochet. I love to hang out with my four cats and dog! I am looking forward to a great season where I can learn a lot about coding and engineering!

Coach Mark

My name is Mark and I have been coaching FIRST for 7 years. I have worked at Lockheed Martin for 23 years and am a Senior Software Architect. Outside of STEM, I love hanging out with my family and dogs.

The Origin Story to Now

The Attack Hamsterz began as a beautiful trio of friends that began in an First Lego League team, HAMstars. Their FLL team name also consisted of their first three initials, Hailey, Audrey, and Makayla. But soon enough, these three girls quickly outgrew FLL and knew - it was time to level up, to First Tech Challenge.

In order to achieve this goal, they reached out to BadgerBots to form a team with other women in STEM. Not only were they able to find more incredible girls, but, they also got a place to practice! Right here at home, in BadgerBots. That same year they were able to recruit 5 new members! Zoe, Anya, Katie, Rachel, and Erin. The theme of carrying the first initials in the name continued, and they became the Attack Hamsterz. From then on, their robotics journey had found a new path, a flourishing and luminescent path to success.

Two years later, and on to their 3rd year as an FTC team. The Hamsterz have gone to state both rookie years, and acquired two new members before the INTO THE DEEP started and finally achieved their "perfect" amount of teammates. Emma and Rianna joined in the 2024-2025 season and have been an incredible help. Both of their initials are also in the team's name, ensuring that no matter who you are, you are involved, included, and loved, as an Attack Hamster. The INTO THE DEEP Season brought lots of success to the Hamsterz, placing us fourth overall in the State, and having our famous level 3 hang FIRST IN THE WORLD. We won numerous awards including Inspire 2nd Place, Control, Innovate, Design, and more!

Going into the DECODE season, we had three members graduate (Emma, Anya, and Zoe), and we recruited two new members; Arianna and Amelia! The Attack Hamsterz are growing up and graduating but their initials will forever remain in the name, the As are always welcome and the Zs always have a home here.

We are more than ready for an incredible fourth season and are pumped to start competing and scoring artifacts. See you soon!
