Flint Marko (SANDMAN)

☆  Flint Marko was just a petty criminal working under the big man before his debut as The Sandman. Having attempted to secure his “big score” multiple times over only to be stopped and apprehended by the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. 

Eventually after having been bailed out of jail by his boss, Marko was taken to an undisclosed location where he is hooked up and strapped into a bunch of machinery that was supposed to give him sub-dermal silicon armor, to make him practically indestructible and undetectable to any security scanners. 

The procedure didn’t exactly go as planned however as Marko’s body turned to sand and burst, causing him to seemingly die for a moment. 

Once Flint was able to reassemble himself back into a semi-human shape, he quickly became horrified and enraged over what was done to him. But adjusted well to the changes in his body’s structure. 

Flint’s boss wanted to try and get him to get revenge on the webhead that keeps foiling his plans, but Marko wasn't the type to seek vengeance. 

He refused his boss's offer and went rogue, staying solo for a while until Doctor Otto Octavius broke him out of jail, and gave him an offer that he couldn't refuse.
