Atma Kutir is most pious place existing on universe. Raahi Baba ( Guru ji) is the source of power in Atma Kutir Ashram. Rahi Baba (referred here in as Guruji) was born on 12 Feb 1952 in a small village of Yamkeshwar ( Uttarakhand, India). His official name is Sh. Mahaveer Prasad Kandwal.

After completing his basic school education he worked at various places like Ranchi, Yamuna Nagar, Uttaranchal. In addition to this he was involved in women empowerment and other social reforms.

He also served as Mahant in Chandi Devi Temple for 8 years.

After that he started his Sadhana in a small cave for years together and founded this place. For several years he did rigorous sadhana.

Mahavatar Baba( referred here in as Guru Maharaj) is Guru of Rahi Baba.

Guruji did rigid sadhana in the caves of the Himalayan ranges for several years; after which he was blessed by Guru Maharaj. For many years Guru Maharaj kept on coming and going in body of Guruji and guiding him. This was period when Guruji had taken task of converting the barren mountain to beautiful Ashram you see now. He has done years of Sadhana in caves in Himalayas. After years of Sadhana he has planted all his powers in the soil of Atma Kutir. Those who do Sadhana in Atma Kutir can get the divine blessings. By Guruji's inspiration, Atma Kutir Ashram has been beautifully and amazingly carved from a barren mountain.
