The Army Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) mission is motivate young people to become better citizens. There is no military obligation in JROTC, this is not military preparation program. Instead, Cadets are taught necessary skills for life and learn to grow as leaders, within their communities and beyond.
The Army JROTC curriculum consists of education in citizenship, leadership, and communication skills, along with physical fitness, wellness, geography and, civics. The curriculum is facilitated by retired Army personnel. JROTC is one of the most successful programs in high school, making substantial contributions to their schools and their community. The benefits of JROTC are reflected in many different metrics.
To help us achieve our mission, we have the support of a tremendous booster organization. The JROTC Boosters help with fundraising, assist in running many of our extra curricular events, and provide outreach to the school and community to promote JROTC support and participation.
