Comfort cases
The Raider Battalion’s current Service Learning project, initiated during the 2019-2020 school year, aims towards helping the children in America’s foster care system. This was achieved by compiling resources- toiletries, books, backpacks, stuffed animals, and more- to donate to “Comfort Cases,” a national organization dedicated to this noble cause.
On January 19th, C/LTC Kim Munro, C/CPT Evan Jaquis, and C/CPT Mia Buck delivered those supplies on the battalion’s behalf to Comfort Cases headquarters in Rockville, MD, where they met with founder Rob Scheer to learn about more ways to support his charity until in-person service can resume.
