Inquiring into our second line of inquiry can only be described as: Exciting, Energetic and Exhausting!
Our task was to create and develop a game which would express our own ideas, feelings, values and cultures and which would be physically, socially and economically accessible to all.
We viewed videos of sports and games and brainstormed the feelings, emotions, ideas and values that were being expressed by the participants. We also realised that games themselves express values through their structure, aims and rules.
The most important value we wanted to express through our game was INCLUSION
Our game should also encourage participants to express the following:
A sense of fun
Passion
Skills
Teamwork
Loyalty
Energy and fitness
A competitive spirit
Resilience
We spent many hours inside and outside Athletic Arrows HQ designing and refining our game.
Once done, we needed a name for our game which would express its elements. After hours of deliberation and energetic debate, we proudly named our game: INTERBALL
