The Book of Sand

There is a short story called The Book of Sand (El libro de arena) by the Argentine writer Jorge Luis Borges. In this tale, he writes of a mysterious book. This book has neither a beginning nor an end; one can never read the same page twice, yet it can be read indefinitely. It is an infinite book, as though pages are endlessly welling up from within its binding.

"This is what we should strive for!" we thought. With A fable of a fable, we seek to create a narrative just like that—one where no matter who starts reading, or from where, a completely different story begins, and it never comes to a close.

Furthermore, isn't the very world we live in originally much like this book—having neither beginning nor end, where no page can ever be read twice, and where the reading continues infinitely?

We remain on the search for ways to bring such a narrative to life.
