PASS WALLET PRIVACY POLICY
Updated September 25, 2026
Astrum Computing, LLC develops Wallet Card: Pass & Passbook, also called Pass Wallet or Wallet Creator. This section describes how Pass Wallet handles information and takes precedence over the general Astrum policy below for this app. Other Astrum apps may have different practices.
Your cards and iCloud
Cards can contain names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, membership and payment-card numbers, balances, PINs, barcodes, ticket details, images, and locations you add. Saved cards are stored on your device. Card sync can be enabled by default; check Settings for your current choice. When enabled, card data also syncs through your Apple Account. Changes to card sync take effect after restarting the app. Turning card sync off does not delete existing cloud copies or disable iCloud Keychain and recovery-key storage. Recovery keys are stored in wrapped form in your private iCloud database, and our recovery service processes keys to restore access to encrypted cards. Sharing a card, vault, backup, or exported file gives recipients access to its contents. App lock controls access to the app; it does not control copies you export or share.
Google AI image import
With your permission, photo import sends the selected image and its visible contents to Google Gemini through Firebase AI Logic to recognize the card and extract its details. This may include names, card numbers, PINs, addresses, contact details, balances, barcodes, and ticket information. You can use manual entry instead. Permission for future imports remains enabled on that device until you turn it off in Settings > Card Import > Google AI Import. Cancelling the permission prompt stops that upload.
Google may retain submitted content and responses for safety, abuse prevention, or legal requirements, and authorized personnel may review content for those purposes. This is not a zero-retention service. Google's Gemini API terms and abuse-monitoring policies govern its processing, including the distinction between paid and unpaid service data use:

Apple Wallet and online features
Creating or updating an Apple Wallet pass sends its fields, barcode, images, and other pass contents to our pass-signing service, hosted on Google Cloud or Microsoft Azure depending on app version and service configuration. The service returns a signed pass. A pass added to Apple Wallet is a separate copy managed through Apple Wallet.
Online searches and lookups send the information needed for the request, such as a merchant name, flight number, event search, or location, to our services and the relevant data providers. Downloading remote artwork or importing a URL contacts the host serving that content.
Accounts and shared templates
Template accounts use Firebase Authentication, including supported Apple, Google, and email sign-in options. These services process account identifiers and the email address and display name provided during sign-in. Our Google Cloud services process template submissions, which can include text, images, and account information. Approved public templates are available to other users. Do not submit private card details as public templates.
Purchases, usage, and diagnostics
Apple processes App Store payments. RevenueCat verifies purchases, restores access, and manages subscription and lifetime entitlements. Encore supports paywall experiences where enabled. These services process purchase history, entitlement status, and app-user identifiers. We do not receive your App Store payment-card details from Apple; card information you choose to import is handled separately as described above.
Firebase Analytics measures app usage, and Firebase Crashlytics provides crash diagnostics. Our service providers may process app-instance, device, or account identifiers, app and device information, approximate location, product interactions and other usage data, purchase status, and diagnostic records. We connect analytics and purchase identifiers to understand usage and subscription outcomes. Data associated with these identifiers is not treated as anonymous simply because it lacks your name.
Pass Wallet does not display third-party advertisements, use IDFA for advertising attribution, or track your activity across other companies' apps and websites for targeted advertising or advertising measurement. We do not sell user data or share it with data brokers.

Retention, deletion, and your choices
Delete saved cards in the app when you no longer need them. Disabling sync does not itself delete existing cloud data. Uninstalling the app does not cancel subscriptions or necessarily remove iCloud data, Apple Wallet passes, backups, shared copies, or server-side records. Manage those separately in the relevant service.
Use Delete Account in the template-account screen where available. Pending and rejected submissions are deleted through that process; approved public templates may remain with account details removed. Contact us for access, correction, deletion, or other applicable privacy requests concerning information held by our services. We may need reasonable information to verify a request. Some records may remain for transactions, security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations. Provider-managed data is subject to the provider's retention practices. These Pass Wallet rights and contact provisions supersede the general policy's fixed fee and identification examples below.
Security and contact
We use service providers to operate the app, and information may be processed outside your country. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users and our service. No system can guarantee absolute security.
When you contact support or send deletion feedback, we receive the message and diagnostic details you choose to send, such as device, operating system, app version, and build. Avoid including PINs or unnecessary sensitive card details in support messages.
Contact support@astrumcomputing.com for privacy questions or requests. We will post changes here with an updated date.
