Valedictorian

For the Class of 2020, the Valedictorian is ISABELLA TIARAS CHENG XUE EN from 20/25.

Isabella was the President of the 2nd Students’ Council and she displayed exemplary leadership. She was part of the planning committee for the Student Leaders’ Investiture in 2019 and Head of the Orientation 2020 Student Planning Committee.

Isabella was a caring leader who commanded the respect of her peers. She had a can-do attitude that never gave up in the face of difficulty and this was vital especially in a year of uncertainty brought about by Covid-19. She was key in ensuring that her peers stayed focussed on their goals and were not discouraged by setbacks.

Isabella also demonstrated a strong social conscience and empathy. She constantly looked beyond herself, not only in watching out for the well-being of her peers, but also in participating in initiatives that serve the community which she continued to do even after graduation.
