Suriga is a open species, they are sentient, intelligent creatures capable of independent thought, decision-making, and communication. They possess self-awareness and the ability to form complex social, emotional, and moral connections with others.
Centuries back, as the Chaos Deity created the Infernal Abyss, they created the Surigas as living weapons that represented terror and entropy. These enormous demons, forged from volcanic rock, molten ash, and ancient bones, were created to guard the abyss' most flammable treasures, wreak havoc, and destroy order on both the mortal and infernal realms. Their smoke-filled maws and antlers, which were always pouring with molten ichor, making them both deadly and dreadful. They were destined to devastate while preserving the balance of power in the Infernal Abyss.
The Surigas eventually become one of the most dreaded creatures in the Abyss. Under the direction of the Chaos Deity, they destroyed opposing demon armies during the Shattering of the Infernal Hierarchy, marking the beginning of their ascent. Later, by overthrowing the infernal's despicable rulers, the Smoke Rebellion—led by the fabled Suriga Volgrath the Smoldering—solidified their supremacy. Although they were still bound to the essence of the Infernal Abyss, this uprising compelled a truce known as the Pact of Ash, which gave Surigas independence and elevated them to the highest levels of demonkind.
Currently, Suriga serve as both the guardians and enforcers of Infernal Abyss. They are custodians of old relics, executioners of cunning demons, and shock warriors in celestial warfare. They are unrivaled in power because of their capacity to control smoke, heal infernal wounds, and start destruction. Even though they live alone, they practice customs like molten duels to resolve conflicts and rituals that revitalize their chaotic nature, strengthening their relationship with the Chaos Deity.
The other rulers of the Abyss are resentful of their domination and plot to overthrow them. But because of their unwavering devotion to the Chaos Deity, the Suriga are practically unbeatable, guaranteeing their position as the ultimate predators in Hell. Legend has it that the only way to destroy them is to cut off this connection—a secret that no one is willing to reveal. The Surigas keep marching over the flaming landscapes of Infernal Abyss, their flames and smoke serving as a continual reminder of the unbridled might of chaos.
They are required to have a pair of antlers, smoke from their mouth, big paws, 2 devil tails and hooves. They are not allowed to have any traits that represents holiness such as angel/feathered wings, halo, etc.

Surigas are immortal creatures. By absorbing the infernal energy, they become stronger over millennia rather than aging. They are ageless in various ways, although their bodily forms can be destroyed by extreme cold or by holy forces. By transferring their power on to the following generation, some people decide to terminate their lives through the Cremation of Embering. Those who escape the ritual or devastation may live as long as Hell itself, fed by chaos that never ends.
As apex predators, Surigas patrol the infernal landscape, alone and territorial. They are incredibly clever, crafty, and motivated by a natural urge to cause mayhem. They are primarily solitary, although occasionally, at the command of the Chaos Deity, they will band together for occasions like the Smogfeast or in major conflicts. Despite their intense devotion to their creator, they treat most other creatures with contempt, seeing them as either prey or obstacles.
To survive, Surigas use spiritual energy and unadulterated elemental forces. They frequently prey on mortal intruders, lost souls, or weaker demons, feeding off their victims' anguish and terror. They also take in energy from smoke, fire, and molten rock, which makes the hot side of Infernal Abyss' volcanic pits a perfect place for them to feed.
Surigas can speak and learn languages, including mortal, celestial, and demonic tongues. They can then modify their knowledge to communicate with various creatures. Although they prefer to intimidate with guttural growls and roars, they can converse when needed with their deep, resonant voices. Additionally, they use low-frequency rumbles and smoke patterns to communicate, which serve as subtle cues for challenges, alliances, or warnings among their kind.
